Good facilitation requires knowledge of tools designed to help teams be productive, an ability to apply relevant tools, good communications skills, consensus building, and leadership.

Committee members often find it difficult to facilitate meetings, since they want (and need) to be involved and share their ideas.

CALMC provides neutral, third-party facilitation for teams, committees, and meetings. This service helps meetings be more productive.

CALMC recommends neutral facilitation for meetings, especially for beginning teams and committees. As a not-for-profit organization, we provide this service at a low cost.

 The safety committee at Hamilton Tanks was involved in helping reduce workplace accidents. As a result, the company eliminated penalty premiums and workers were in a safer environment. The committee participated in CALMC's Safety Always program under the facilitation of Columbus Area Labor-Management Committee.
